Formula E Race Review - 2026 Mexico City E-Prix

January 10, 2026

Season 12 technically started in 2025, but Mexico City still brings us the first race of 2026. It's also the 150th race that Formula E has run. Mexico City is generally a very lackluster track to me, but with how good last year's finish was combined with a minor change to the track layout, it remains to be seen exactly what kind of race this season will give us.

IT Pro Tip - Follow The Thread

January 6, 2026

Tech support takes a lot of critical thinking. The user usually doesn't know how to properly articulate what the issue is, so you have to read between the lines and fill in the gaps. You'll have plenty of logs and other data to potentially comb through, so you need to be able to quickly pick up on relevant information. And, once you have a starting point, you need to be able to follow the thread all the way to its conclusion. While a lot of these thought processes seem obvious to me, I'm learning that they aren't necessarily obvious to everyone. With that in mind, here's a very basic real-world case study of what goes through my mind when I'm troubleshooting something.

Pink Kokoro - A Project Sekai Rant, Feat. BanG Dream!

December 17, 2025

When I first started Project Sekai, this was my first impression of Emu Otori.

You might think the rest of this post will be about how Emu isn't actually pink Kokoro.

It's not; I stand by what I said.

Rather, Emu is what Kokoro could have been if the Bandori writing staff was competent.

Formula E Race Recap - 2025 São Paulo E-Prix

December 6, 2025

Formula E is back with the first race of season 12, the final season of the GEN3 Evo car. Last year's season opener at São Paulo was a chaotic one, so it remains to be seen if this year's race will be calmer or more of the same.

Please Stop Using Cloudflare

November 18, 2025

With the recent Cloudflare outage resolved, I suspect most websites are going to go back to normal, not thinking anything of it until the next time things go sideways. Still, I'm here to make a plea: please consider not using Cloudflare.

Is Railgun Still My Favorite Anime? - Railgun Rewatch Reaction Part 1

November 15, 2025

Beware of "A Certain Scientific Railgun" spoilers

"A Certain Scientific Railgun" was one of the first anime I ever watched, and it has continued to hold up to scrutiny on every rewatch I've done. However, with how much of a masterpiece I claim that "BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!" is, can I still call it my favorite? There's only one way to find out, and that's to watch it again and give a play-by-play of my thoughts.

Moving Search From Google To PageFind

November 12, 2025

I'm just enough of a narcissist to believe that people deserve to hear the things I have to say, so discoverability is very important to me. To that end, I've wanted to have some kind of search function on my site to make it easier to find older posts. Around two months ago, I added a Google Programmable Search Engine as a temporary measure, but I always had my eye on PageFind in the long term. Today, I finally took the time to implement the PageFind solution into the site.

Iconic NASCAR Race Recap - 2021 Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway

November 8, 2025

I've been pretty vocal about my opinion on driving standards in NASCAR over the past five years or so. Races tend to devolve into guys running over each other as they go on, and that's only exacerbated at short tracks, where moving people out of your way is the only way to pass. Still, sometimes short tracks manage to put on a show. For example, the finish to the 2021 Food City 300, which I consider to be one of the greatest finishes I've ever watched. So, let's go back in time to recap if the race itself was as good as the finish.

NASCAR Race Recap - 2025 Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway

November 3, 2025

Despite all the drama about the NASCAR playoff format, the Cup Series championship 4 was actually a pretty solid group. There's a solid argument to be made that each of them deserves a championship this season. However, we can only have one champion, so let's recap the 2025 championship race and all the drama within.

NASCAR's Playoff Format Works Perfectly (Just Not For You)

November 2, 2025

NASCAR's current playoff format has been a target of ire among fans basically since its inception. These frustrations have only gotten more intense with how the 2025 Xfinity Series championship finished. The declarations of how the system is broken or doesn't work have never been louder. The problem with that way of thinking is that the system actually works perfectly. Or, rather, whether the system works depends on what exactly you're trying to accomplish.
